Russian govt raises import, production quotas for painkillers
MOSCOW, Nov 30 (PRIME) -- The Russian government has increased the quotas for imports and production of painkillers, the government said in a statement on November 29.
“More painkillers that contain substances oxycodone, remifentanil, and fentanyl will be produced in Russia. To achieve that, the government has decided to raise the quotas for imports of these components to the country and for their storage and production,” the statement read.
The quotas for oxycodone were raised by 150% times, for remifentanil by 7 times, and for fentanyl by 50%.
